WORKSHOP: EXPLORE GENERATIVE ART
Programming doesn’t need to be about solving serious real-world problems. It can also be used to create beautiful art from mathematical formulae and randomness. In this workshop you will get to try your hand at creating generative art using R.
Hosted by:
Juulia Suvilehto, Data and AI consultant at KnowIt, and until recently Staff Data Scientist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital’s AI Competence Center. As an experienced lecturer and emerging public speaker, Juulia is particularly passionate about making data science accessible to new practitioners and supporting individuals from historically underrepresented groups in entering the field
WORKSHOP: AI IN ACTION
Curious about how AI fits into everyday life? In this session Elisa Bin will offer a glimpse into AI as a practical tool and how it’s used in real-world settings. Generative AI and transformers are behind some of today’s most exciting innovations, from producing text to creating images. You may have heard about their potential, but perhaps haven’t had the chance to explore them directly. This workshop is an opportunity to dive in – hands-on and collaboratively – to begin uncovering the concepts and possibilities behind these technologies together!
Hosted by:
Elisa Bin, PhD student at KTH, affiliated with Integrated Transport Research Lab and co-founder of a tech startup FleetMQ (former ABConnect), and a long time Code mentor and Camp Teacher at Pink Programming.
