We’re excited to announce that Pink Programming will be part of Vetenskapsfestivalen in Gothenburg, 1-6 April. As one of Europe’s largest popular science events, Vetenskapsfestivalen attracts around 50,000 visitors each year by presenting science in engaging and unexpected ways. The renowned festival creates spaces for knowledge, inspiration, and new perspectives, making it a natural collaboration for us at Pink Programming.

This year’s theme ‘Futures’, aligns with our mission to create a more inclusive and diverse tech industry. Our work focuses on coding, but goes beyond – we are breaking down barriers, redefining who belongs in tech, and shaping the future of the industry. As we move forward, we remain committed to leading the way toward a truly gender-equal tech sector by fostering curiosity, collaboration, and empowerment.

Pub-Coding

As part of the festival, we are proud to contribute with a Pub-Coding session on April 6, where we will explore generative art – creating beautiful art from mathematical formulae and randomness using the programming language R. An event where women and non-binary can meet, code, and connect in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere – the true essence of Pink Programming. 

Together with Vetenskapsfestivalen, we are shaping a future where technology is built by – and for – everyone.
